My first pair I wore for about three years to work. After that they were reduced to yard boots. After 5 years I'm still wearing them. I did have to super glue some parts on the soul, but lets be realistic, they are like 6 years old now and still wearing them. I hope they didn't change anything as I really like these. Time will tell. Also, don't buy carolinas, they are garbage. Paid 150 bucks for them and less then two years the soul just split and will need a new soul to wear again. Called them and I was informed its two years so they would only cover after one year. Again CAROLINAS stink. Stay away from them and tell all your friend NOT TO buy carolinas.Wore 12 hours per day as a system test engineer in nuclear power plants walking and climbing around averaging at least 5 miles per day.Very comfortable within a week providing you purchase the correct size AND width allowing for high quality thick wool socks.I did have to start using shoe glue after 10 years but for me that exceeded my expectations! At work, as a Seafood Dept Manager and Produce Manager I’m on my feet for 9-10 hours a day in 37 degree temperatures. I LOVED these boots. Expensive but worth it. I’ve tried a few different boots Some were good but didn’t last. Another kept my feet frozen. I just couldn’t get the shoe right. Then I found these. I could tell by the workmanship they would last. Comfortable, warm, dry everything I needed. But perhaps a jinx? after having them for 5 days I lost my job. $200 investment. Thanks to Amazon Prime return policies I was able to return them but boy did I love them. I can tell you with 100% certainty if I am in need of this type boot again, I’d buy them again in a heartbeat.Buy them with confidence. That’s a Joe Review GuaranteeAnyone hiring? lolJoeNice heavy duty boots. Good support and ice lining. Pricy, but this brand has always outlasted my expectations.I knew as I ordered needing wide a utility boot this boot would be heavier . Fits my purpose in the woods on atvs also spray with a good protectorant and looks good enough to wear everywhere .Excellent comfort and flexibilityI have another pair of Keen boots and I bought this pair that should speak for itself at near 200.00. I love them.I am buying Keen boots for years now as I struggle badly with Plantar Facitis and always got relief from Keen boots. My feet got worse after buying these. They felt hard and clunky and never really broke in.I am ordering a different pair of Keen boots pair as I am hoping it was just a once off!I've put about 750 miles on these boots. Over all very happy with them, until it got cold this winter. The soles get hard in the cold and you get almost zero traction. I'm walking around taking baby steps so I don't wipe out. I've been wearing multiple other Keen boots for the last 6-7 years and never had this issue with the soles getting hard. Other wise they're great boots. The waterproofing is great also.
