The Good:These boots are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. I have been buying this brand for 4 years now. They TYPICALLY are extremely durable and last 12+ months with no issues while working 60+ hour weeks in a rugged environment (water, chemicals, debris) This leads me to;The Bad:This particular pair starting coming apart at the seams within 4 months of my purchase. This has never happened before with another pair, and I have bought them 3x before now. The toe seam and side seam are coming open on both boots after owning them for less than 5 months. The Ugly:The return window is one month. I suggest buying workboots from Grainger or another retailer that offers the typical 6 month no questions asked return window. I'm not sure if the retails that sells these has had them sitting in an environment that could harm the stitching or perhaps they got them at a discounted price. Regardless I'll have to buy another pair as I work in wastewater treatment and my boots are the most important tool I have.Best boots I’ve ever had! I’ve owned other models of Red Wing/ Irish Settler Boots and these are definelty my favorite. They are comfortable because of the flex technology and have extremely good traction which is the most important factor for me. The safety toe feature if convenient and lightweight. Another feature I love is the way the laces are braided. They feel more durable and hardly never untie like the other laces on other models.I love these boots and cannot stress it enough. The only thing I can say is that the waterproofing is a 8.5/10. It does keep my feet dry but a bit of water gets in after heavy water exposure. Other than that these are my most perfect and versatile boots.I have always been a 10.5 boot, regardless if I switch brands. I was still always a 10.5 Received the boots yesterday, 2/10/2020.Tried on and walked around house for a while fit was good and very comfortable.Later on I had to go to work. So I wore the new boots.6 hours into my shift they started to hurt my foot a bit.....they were tight. They felt a little on the small side after the few hours into my shift. I believe in this case I would be better off getting a size 11 instead of the 10.5I'm just not sure if I can return after being used heavily.Put it this way I will be buying these again. I'm a hardscape so it is usually pretty hard to find a boot to withstand the breathing but these boot are so nice I still wear them around when it's nasty out, and I've had them for the better part of a year. Most comfortable shoe ive ever had in general. Have bought it 3 times. Great all around working outside boot for woods, construction, roadside. Water proofing lasts but is not very high on boot. Boot is a little on heavy side but nothing too bad.Bought this same pair 3 years ago. While my other coworkers boots were falling apart within the first year, these held solid. Only after 3 years did they start falling apart and even then they were still wearable. On my 2nd pair now! They fit my flat feet with long arch like no other boot. Heavy duty but dont weigh too much. DurableMy husband is a plumber and seems to like these. His feet are. Little wide we got the EE size but he likes them!
